Climate:
Muktinath is a high valley is located in the Mustang Bhote region. The climate and landscape here are similar to those of the Tibetan Plateau since it is situated in the rain shadow of the Greater Himalayas. The changes in climate from warm to cold take you to the sacred shrine of Muktinath in the Mustang district. Flowing through the region from north to south and forming deep gorges is the Kali Gandaki River. The temperature in summer (March to August) hovers between a Maximum of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 6 to 8 Degree Celsius. At the beginning of winter (September to November) the temperature fluctuates between 14 to 16 degrees Celsius and 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. In the winter (December to February) the maximum temperature will be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius and minimum 0 to -8 degrees Celsius.

Season:
The most suitable time to visit Muktinath is from March to May & September - October. From November to February it can be cold, but you can travel. December and January are for the diehard & snowfall in the all of area 4 to 10 ft. June to August is raining season. As the weather conditions would not be safe enough to travel in those months.

Clothing:
We suggest you take a normal wind setter from March to May. Light warm jacket, woolen sweater, warm T-Shirts, comfortable shoes, trousers, and cotton pants are enough for this trip. We recommended you bring down a jacket for the winter.

Now a day’s free WIFI in hotels in Jomsom & Muktinath. Health post and Post office in Jharkot. Police station, ACAP tourist information center, and Safe drinking water station at Ranipauwa. There are available Electricity facilities also.

Rule & Regulation :
Muktinath lies in the Annapurna conservation area where an entry fee is required. Entry fees can be obtained from Kathmandu and Pokhara. The ACAP entry fee is Rs. 200.00 Per person for Indians and others SAARC nationals and Rs. 2000.00 per person to other foreign nationals at the above-mentioned designated place. An equal extra fee will be levied if permits are issued from the field check post. The Permit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and is valid for a single entry. Children below 10 yrs. need not entry fee.

    Muktinath Tour package is a hugely renowned pilgrimage destination for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. The temple lies approximately about 180 km from Pokhara and 18 km northeast of Jomsom airport.  The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which is the main shrine, situated at an altitude of (3749 M-12184Ft).

    The Holy Lake in Muktinath, 108 water sprouts, and the temple itself are the subjects that keep you busy in worshipping, holy bath, and others. The route to Muktinath temple goes along the Kali Gandaki River, where the precious stone, Shaligram can be found. Several options are available for the trip to Muktinath, To go Muktinath there are several options like a 4WD Jeep Tour, by flight via Jomsom, and by helicopter tour is suitable for all Pilgrimage devotees. 

    What is the best time to visit Muktinath Temple?
    The best time to visit the Muktinath temple is from the mid or March-April, May, and June. On the other hand, the next season begins in September and lasts till December. However, if you want to experience the chilling adventure, you can enjoy it in winter too.

    After breakfast, move for city sightseeing Pashupatinath, (Hindu Temple) a majestic temple with a golden roof and is considered one of Nepal’s most important Hindu pilgrimage centers, Boudhnath, a colossal stupa which is one of the biggest in the world and serves as a center of Tibetan Buddhism, Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square.     After breakfast, Drive to Pokhara on the way visit Manakamana Devi’s temple Darsan (The Wish-fulfilling Goddess) by cable car at extra cost. A place of the remarkable landscape against the Annapurna Range. Check-in at the hotel. O/N stay at Hotel.

    Early Morning drive to Muktinath we will reach Muktinath around 1:00 pm and then Darshan of lord Muktinath and Take a shower on 108 taps then drive back to Jomsom. O/N stay at Hotel.
