I have been working with Blue Himalaya Tours since 2011. After beginning my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, I started working alongside my studies at this company. Following a few years of experience, I enrolled in a national-level Tour Guide training program at NATHM, where I successfully completed the course with distinction.
Since then, I have been officially guiding tours to various destinations across Nepal, particularly in the Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara. My academic background in Environmental Science has given me a strong understanding of environmental and eco-tourism, which I integrate into my guiding practices.
I also spent a couple of years in Germany, where I studied sustainability, further enriching my perspective on responsible tourism. I currently conduct city tours primarily in English and German.
To deepen my understanding of local culture and spirituality, I completed a course on the "Fundamentals of Buddhism." As a practicing Hindu since childhood, I also have a natural and thorough understanding of Hinduism.
Over the years, I have worked with thousands of people from diverse cultural backgrounds and am well-versed in operating within multicultural groups. Additionally, I have served as a trainer, teaching basic Nepali to foreigners engaged in environmental and social projects in rural areas of Nepal. Since English is not widely spoken in these regions, having a foundational knowledge of the local language has greatly helped them adapt and integrate with the communities they serve.
